About Paddle Manitoba
Paddle Manitoba (PM) is the advocate and instructional organization for recreational and wilderness paddlesports in Manitoba. Founded in 1988 as the Manitoba Recreational Canoeing Association, Paddle Manitoba is a non-profit, incorporated association which seeks to promote the safe and challenging pursuit of all canoeing and kayaking disciplines. We work to:
- Promote safe canoeing and kayaking
- Provide quality instruction through a national standards program
- Protect the interests of paddlers, and our natural environment
- Maintain educational resources through our website and newsletter
A federated member of Paddle Canada, Paddle Manitoba participates in the development of paddlesport programs at the provincial and national level. Canoeist or kayaker, flatwater or whitewater enthusiast, we will support all your paddling interests.
